Abbeyfield is a national charity providing housing with care to older people. There are around 820 houses throughout the UK run by over 550 Abbeyfield societies.

Abbeyfield houses are set up and run by groups of local volunteers. Over 10,000 volunteers give their time on behalf of residents, ensuring that each feels at home and supported.

In Wirral, there are houses in Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port, Heswall, Hoylake, Parkgate, Prenton, Wallasey and West Kirby.
