Cuddly Clatterbridge
Radio Clatterbridge put smiles on the faces of the youngsters at Claire House after paying them a new year's visit. The Clatterbridge-based hospice cares for local children and young adults aged up to the age of 23 with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions. Winnie The Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger will surely help the youngsters join in with their fun and games. Claire House staff have already reported a shortage of honey, and any donations will be gratefully received! Top

He takes over from Mike Eveleigh who received a vote of thanks for his hard work over the last few years. Dave will be assisted by Coffee Club presenter Ian Grant in fundraising for the station over the next twelve months. Paul Johnston and Sarah Russell remain in their roles as Programme Controller and Treasurer respectively. Top

Double Take
Radio Clatterbridge volunteers did a double take this morning when 12 year old twins Sam and Dan made a visit to the station. Making the most of the charity's new wheelchair access, the pair were the special guests of the Saturday Crew. They were joined by Claire House carers Catherine and Rosie. Queen fan Dan asked for a song by... the Stereophonics, while Sam presented an FA Cup preview declaring that Liverpool would beat Havant and Waterlooville 15-0! The score may not have been quite what Sam wished for, but the result was thankfully the same. Top
