Wednesday Review host Danni Richards has proved she's all talk, after joing the team at a new Liverpool radio station. The Radio Clatterbridge volunteer, who's more used to playing music on air, has been part of the production crew on the CityTalk breakfast show. Danni has been recording people's views on each day's hot topics, and has even met the Israeli ambassador Ron Prosser who was a guest in the studio. Top Tuesday 5th February 2008
Radio Clatterbridge will soon be able to enjoy a more dedicated relationship with the Wirral Hospital NHS Trust, thanks to the efforts of volunteer Linda Bonner. Linda has taken on a new role of Hospital Liaison for the charity. She will also be working on publicising the station within the hospital. Linda is also on the hospital's Patient and Public Involvement Forum panel. Top Sunday 17th February 2008
Radio Clatterbridge presenter Vic Charles celebrated his 64th year today - by celebrating his 16th birthday! The Coffee Club host was born on the leap year day, meaning he can only officially mark his birthday every four years. Vic was so committed though, that it didn't prevent him presenting Friday's edition of the Clatterbridge Coffee Club. So other volunteers from the station took the opportunity to surprise him in the studio with a birthday cake, complete with sixteen candles! He finished his programme on a personal note, playing the Neil Sedaka song Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen. Not so much of the "sweet", Vic, but the sentiment was there! Top Friday 29th February 2008
