Radio Clatterbridge has made initial inquiries into the prospect of broadcasting to the hospital and surrounding hospices via medium wave. Presenter Steve Lord has conducted a feasibility study for volunteers at the station following worries about the future of the existing land-line system. Station bosses are encouraging opinions on the proposals from members. Top

Red And White All Over
Radio Clatterbridge was with Liverpool Football Club all the way to FA Cup glory this week. The station was the first hospital broadcaster to air the team's official cup song, Ring Of Fire by the Back Room Boys, last Tuesday. Listeners also heard all the ups and downs of the exciting final live from our reporter at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. The Saturday Sequence stayed on air to bring fans all of the penalties and extra time action. Top

A Walk On The Wet Side
Radio Clatterbridge volunteers put their best feet forward today to raise money for the charity. The seven plucky soles got soaked with rain as they battled through fifteen miles of mud, wet sand and marsh land to complete the annual Wirral Walk in just over five hours. But it was all well worth it. They managed to collect nearly five hundred pounds for the station. Click here for more pictures from the walk. Top

It's Raining Sportsmen
Radio Clatterbridge volunteers got soaked today when they tried to raise money for the charity. They turned up at Wirral Rugby Club's Fun Day and Fair to sell some CDs to swell station funds. But with the rain pouring, sales could have been better. However, it wasn't a complete damp squib, with the team managing to raise more than fifty pounds from the visitors. Top
