There's rock 'n roll fun when Radio Clatterbridge Presents Rock It each Friday! Also listen out for blues, rhythm 'n blues and lighter rock across four decades plus some favourites picked by Dave's brother. Ron Berkeley ably assists Dave when he's not doing odd jobs in the studio as our technical expert! You can also find out more about the singers and their bands and relive the rock 'n roll era with the mystery year.

Dave Berkeley is no stranger to rock himself. He was a roadie for a local band and even held a microphone by the bell of Brian Jones's saxophone when he performed with The Undertakers in Wallasey! He says he loves to keep alive the music of an era when a musician played an instrument, not a computer. A licensed radio amateur, Dave has had contacts from as far afield as the United States and Russia. Dave is also keen to keep Morse Code alive and can send and receive at about 12 words per minute. An ecclectic mix of hobbies means Dave also keeps Koi Carp, can fly gliders and builds rally cars! An elevator engineer by trade, Dave's claim to fame is that he worked on the lifts for Buckingham Palace and the QE2, so you could say he could be by royal appointment!
When Dave's away, you can hear his brother Ron Berkeley standing in for him. Ron is also Radio Clatterbridge's technical whizz.
