Join Dave for the best way to start your day. He'll have the celebrity birthdays, and details of what happened on this day in years gone by. Also listen out for a look ahead at the daytime TV highlights plus the daily chart. On Mondays it's the Top Ten Singles, with the Albums on Tuesdays. Wednesdays sees the Book Top Ten. On Thursdays you can hear the latest DVD chart and on Fridays it's the turn of the top-selling movies.

Dave is one of the longest serving presenters at the station. Inspired by Radio Caroline North, he joined Radio Clatterbridge in 1973 and presented the original Mid-Morning Music each Saturday. Dave is a busy man. Despite his time at Radio Clatterbridge he then teaches in a girls' secondary school in Wirral by day. He also finds time to present programmes on a Chester radio station at the weekend. One of his favourite moments was when, on April Fool's Day, he told listeners they would have to wait until midday to flush their toilets. The switchboard was inundated with calls from anxious listeners who hadn't realised the date!
