Unlike some hospital radio stations, you'll know when you're listening to Radio Clatterbridge. That's because the station plays what is relevant to the listener. He or she can tune in at certain times to hear specific items of interest.

News and weather are the mainstay of all Radio Clatterbridge programmes. At the top of every hour, listeners can hear a local weather forecast followed by three minutes of news. On weekends and match-nights, there are also regular sport updates.

At quarter past every hour, the Radio Clatterbridge Community News is aired. Patients and staff get a chance to find out what's on offer to them in and around the hospital.

Every weekend, Radio Clatterbridge broadcasts a variety of Staff Selections following the Community News. This is when workers at the hospital get the chance to choose the tunes.

In certain hours, there is also the chance to hear a tune from the ever-expanding A-list of songs. The Most Wanted is compiled from listeners' requests.

Finally, most non-specialist programmes feature the Easy Listening Breeze. This gives people a chance to unwind to some classic romantic songs, without interruption from the presenter. This is usually broadcast at half past the hour.
