Vote of thanks for hospital volunteers

A vote of thanks to our volunteersClatterbridge Hospital bosses have paid tribute to members of Radio Clatterbridge for their continued help in entertaining and informing patients and staff.

They were invited to a special event to say thank you to all of the volunteers who regularly give up their time for the greater good of the hospital.

Dave Adams stays on League table

Dave AdamsRadio Clatterbridge presenter Dave Adams has been re-elected as Vice Chairman of the Clatterbridge Hospitals League of Friends.

Station chairman Steve Evans made the formal proposal for the entire committee at the League's 63rd annual general meeting.

Everton FC legend Ian Snodin substitutes Graeme Sharp at carers launch

EFC great Ian Snodin with Steve EvansRadio Clatterbridge listeners heard how Everton FC legend Ian Snodin had to substitute Graeme Sharp at the launch of this year's Carer's Week.

The club ambassador replaced his pal at the event in the foyer of Arrowe Park Hospital.

Listeners are hearing updates from the back of a tandem bicycle - as a Wirral woman aims to raise thousands of pounds for a charity which helps sick youngsters in Clatterbridge.

Debbie Edge, wife of New Ferry butcher Callum Edge, have set off on a 13 day ride from Lands End to John O'Groats with her friend... wearing tutus!

Looking ahead to Carers' Week
