Dr Sue Welsh and Sister Sue James retired after more than half a century of dedicated work between them in the Dermatology Unit at Clatterbridge Hospital.

The broadcaster, who also starred in Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Crossroads, told our presenter Steve Evans that she tried to make the Proud Awards as much fun as she could.
