Local historian Gavin Hunter gave guests a fascinating illustrated talk all about Clatterbridge.

More than 80 people, including hospital staff and members of Radio Clatterbridge's very own request team, attended the fundraising event.

It was the first League of Friends event that Dave took the lead on, with chairman Ken Arnold away on holiday.

The evening was just one of a number of events held throughout the year to raise money for facilities in the health park.
