John Hits The Deck

Presenter John Roberts ended up flat out on the floor when two fitness experts paid a visit to Radio Clatterbridge.

With just days to go until the start of the Olympic Games, keeping fit was the theme for Phil Rostance's Coffee Club.

Patients were able to learn more about regaining fitness - both physically and mentally - from Thornton Hall Country Health Club's Jacqui Alcock and Gill Garner.

Gill Garner sends John to the floorJacqui, the studio and event co-ordinator, and mind and body coach Gill talked about studio based exercises - including Hour of Power, boxercise, metabolic training courses, lion dancing, Zumba and ballroom dancing.

They offer up to 70 classes per week at the Wirral-based hotel.

John dropped in to test out some of the techniques and finished up lying on the floor being massaged by Gill!
