DJ Di joins the Coffee Club

Di GaskellA professional DJ has overcome her concerns about going live on air to present her own programme on Radio Clatterbridge.

Di Gaskell, who usually plays to audiences at bars, clubs and private parties around the region, will be hosting the Tuesday morning Coffee Club for the next few months.

Despite her initial fears about transferring her skills to live radio, she passed her studio training with flying colours.

Meanwhile, fellow former trainee Phil Price has also been welcomed as a member of the station.

He will be doing his own programme at Christmas and hopes to soon have his own regular slot in the schedule.

Radio Clatterbridge has also welcomed two other new volunteers.

Dan Coats has joined Steve Evans as a producer on the Saturday Sequence sports programme and Kate Williams has rejoined the station as a request collector.
