Bobby Bounces Back Rock 'n Roll legend Bobby Vee has told Radio Clatterbridge how he had to change the name of his band, after seeing Cliff Richard in concert. Speaking to Vic Charles on air today, Bobby revealed how his backing musicians had been dubbed The Shadows! Bobby, who appears at the Floral Hall in New Brighton tomorrow night, also told how he was influenced by Merseybeat and especially The Beatles. The interview was broadcast during Ray O'Brien's Mersey Sounds programme.
