Presenter Profile
A former journalist at the chester chronicle, Phil moved into PR/Media relations in the late 1990s working for Vivendi, local councils and the NHS. He puts all of that experience in the media to good use on Radio Clatterbridge. Married to Claire with five children (Luke, Emily, Annabelle, Edward and Charlotte) and a poodle dog, you can probably understand how he spends the rest of his time! The kids do let him get some time watching Tranmere Rovers play. He also enjoys boxing, golf, DIY and sometimes gardening! His musical tastes range from Gilbert O'Sullivan, Carpenters, Kool & the Gang and Andy Williams to Lionel Richie, Survivor, Spandau Ballet, Michael Jackson and Phil Collins. When he was a teenager, Phil once wrote to Harry Carpenter to ask him how he got his job. He wrote a long letter back saying he started in local radio...
