Sian Freestone-Walker

Sian Freestone-Walker Sian Freestone-Walker was a programme assistant on Paul Stewart's programme back in 1995 and only gave up when she decided to live in Texas for a year. After studying Broadcast Journalism at university, she's now a press officer for the Border and Immigration Agency.

"Radio Clatterbridge was a great thing to write on my CV and enabled me to secure a place on my course."

Sian recalls that she really enjoyed being given the opportunity to play all the cheesy '80s tunes that she and fellow programme assistant, Angie Moore, wanted!

So how have things changed since the Sunday afternoon team was last together?

"Radio Clatterbridge is very up to date and state of the art now. But then again all the presenters are still stars, after all they're very committed and give their time for nothing on a regular basis. Anyone wanting to join should go for it. It's a great starting point and fantastic on your CV. It's also a fantastic way of meeting a great bunch of people!"
