![]() Studio 1
The main presenter for each programme sits behind this desk and controls everything that the listeners can hear.
He or she has the ability to listen to anything before putting it on the air. This is how presenters can cue up music to start exactly when they want it to.
Cassettes are used only to record output, and there is also a VHS logging system so the programme controller can keep track of all shows.
There are three microphones: one for the presenter and two for guests. The studio also has the capability to put phone callers directly on to the air.
The news service comes into the station via a satellite receiver in the main studio. There is also a digital television in the studio to enable presenters to keep abreast of the latest events. |
