Yew Tree opened in 2002 after more than three years of campaigning for a community facility that would aid training, learning, support and development.

The centre has transformed an area of wasteland in the area.

Facilities include fourteen computers - all with excellent Office Software facilities, including Word, Power Point, Excel and Access. There is also wheelchair access and facilities for disabled users. The centre can also accommodate people who have difficulty in reading standard text on the screen.
