Radio Clatterbridge volunteers are celebrating this evening, after winning a national award. The charity received a Silver accolade for the best “Station Promotion” at the annual Hospital Radio Awards in Belfast. Judges decided a 50 second advertisement for the 2004 Radio Clatterbridge Staff Achievement Award was one of the best in the country. The promotion featured Merseybeat singer Gerry Marsden and the voice of Ian James. It was written and produced by Andy Bonner.
