Making A Name For Herself

Making A Name For HerselfThe last day of November saw the return of good friend Kevin Critchley to Radio Clatterbridge, who also brought along his talented pal Zoe Nicol. The singer/guitarist/songwriter told Monday Mixture presenter Dave Robinson how she is currently putting the finishing touches to her album with her band, The Worrydolls. Listeners were treated to taste of the album when the LIPA student performed 3 songs live in the studio. Zoe writes all her own material, and has been singing, playing and writing since she was 12 years old. Her influences include Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, Suzanne Vega and Kate Walsh. In the second hour, Kevin told the listeners how he and his band the KCO played a gig in the View Two Gallery in Liverpool last month. Heavily promoted on Radio Clatterbridge, the set raised over £200 for Clatterbridge Cancer research.
