Phil’s Not A Total Wipeout

Coffee Club presenter Phil Rostance isn’t a total wipe-out after he escaped unhurt from an interview with a personal trainer.
The last time Gill Sheworksu appeared on the programme, Phil injured his back and leg the following week.
This time, Phil was given top tips on stretching techniques and warming up exercises prior to doing sports to avoid further injuries.
Gill talked about a range of classes she takes at Hoylake Community Centre, in Hoyle Road, including: Get up and Go, Hour of Power, Metafit, Fitball, Absflex, Aerobics, Stretch and Boxercise.
The pair were joined in the studio by Sarah Graham, a sports therapist, remedial and sports massage expert.
She told listeners how she was a contestant on series three of BBC One’s Total Wipeout and managed to beat the Sucker Punch!
With experience like that, she was well-placed to share advice on avoiding and recovering from sports injuries and how her professional training has helped many sports athletes, including rugby players.
