A Feast For The Ears
April 16, 2014
Listeners to the Coffee Club have heard all about a brand new food and music event coming to Clatterbidge.
Next month, Claremont Farm will be transformed into a showground for the first Farm Feast Festival.
The event replaces the Wirral Food and Drink Festival, which ran for ten years on the site.
There will be a greater emphasis on music from local artists, including one major headline act still to be announced.
Wirral Hospice St John’s, Claire House and the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre will all benefit from the event. All three charities will have marquees there too.
Coffee Club host Steve Evans went to the media launch for the inaugural festival in Liverpool last week to interview organiser Andrew Pimbley.

Mr Pimbley said there will be better accessibility at the new event.
“We’ve had issues with mud which has made it difficult to get around. We’re increasing the trackway and hard standing. So if you are in a wheelchair, or you’ve got a pushchair or are elderly, we’re making it as easy as possible to get around the site.” – Organiser, Andrew Pimbley
