Vote Of Confidence
Members of Radio Clatterbridge have given a vote of confidence in station bosses.
Three Trustees of the charity have unanimously been voted to continue their important work.
It means that Chairman Steve Lord, Programme Controller Paul Johnston and Treasurer Dave Harvey will all continue their current roles on the committee.
The election came at the end of the charity’s Annual General Meeting at the Postgraduate Medical Centre at Clatterbridge.
Volunteers heard that the trio, who had been instrumental in launching broadcasts on AM, have introduced new studio computers and play-out software which helps keeps the station on air 24-hours a day.
They praised engineers Ron and Dave Berkeley who are in the process of installing the new system.
A number of other members were also thanked for going the extra mile with various other projects.
