Brotherhood Of Man

Radio Clatterbridge has strengthened its links with a broadcaster from the Isle of Man.

Marc Tyley is a familiar voice to many Manx patients who travel to Clatterbridge for treatment.

Radio Clatterbridge presenter John Roberts travelled to the island to meet up with Marc in the Manx Radio control room.

Set in a former Royal Navy radar station, the public service broadcaster celebrated its 50th anniversary last year and is the oldest commercial radio station in the British isles.

Marc, a former BFBS presenter, has now spent eight years at Manx Radio and is Controller of Programming and Content there.

He passed on his best wishes to everybody listening to Radio Clatterbridge.

“It’s a vital link with Clatterbridge… We can’t thank them enough because it would be very, very difficult without that support.” – Mark Tyley, Manx Radio

John likened the station to cousins and promised to stay in touch with Manx Radio in the years to come.
