Gaynor Bridges hands over our radios to Dermatology administrator Jeanette

Gaynor catches the ear worms on Derm

Have you ever had one of those “ear worms” – a catchy song stuck in your head that you just can’t shake?

Well now listeners in yet another part of the health park can get the tune out of their heads and on to the radio.

The Dermatology unit in Clatterbridge Hospital has been largely closed at weekends for the last few years making it difficult for our request collectors to see patients and workers.

Thankfully, that has all now changed with ward visitor Gaynor Bridges signed up to drop in to Derm on a regular basis.

Radio Clatterbridge has traditionally had great support from the ward.

At one point, presenter Dave Adams even made Derm domestic Vera a star of his Saturday programme with his Allo Vera feature.

Gaynor met with ward administrator Jeanette to hand over a batch of personal radios so everyone can tune in.

Their requests can be heard during the weekday Coffee Club and Live From The Bridge programmes.
