But Gaz Jones says they shouldn’t put all their faith in the power of new year resolutions.
Throughout January, the health and fitness professional from Wirral is offering his expertise to regulars of the Coffee Club.
He is sharing his advice on healthy living and how to make fitness goals.
So far, he’s brought listeners tips on how to lose fat safely and advised people how they can keep their plans on track.
While Gaz says new year resolutions aren’t all bad, he told presenter Di Gaskell that they often do not work.
