New firm aims to make Wirral women with cancer look and feel better

Women with cancer in Wirral are being offered products and hair services in a bid to make them look and feel better.
A new non-profit business has been set up to to support women after they are diagnosed and beyond.
Listeners to the Coffee Club heard how Me Again, a community interest company, aims to offer a selection of supportive therapies, beauty treatments and personalised wig-fitting services free of charge.
Development Manager Stella Duncan told presenter Steve Evans about her own journey since she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and treated at the Clatterbridge-based Wirral Breast Centre.
“I worked afterwards to make things better for patients coming along behind me and raised funds.” – Stella Duncan
She explained how she met Brimstage hairdresser Deborah Alfa who wanted to offer care and support for people with cancer.
Me Again officially launched in April and has already begun providing beauty and support treatments to local women.
