Golden radio success in the press

Radio Clatterbridge’s success at the Hospital Broadcasting Awards made it in to the press.

We won a gold in Stoke-on-Trent for promoting our special day of programmes in tribute to our late patron, Sir Ken Dodd.

The Wirral Globe reported how the late comedian helped us win the national award.

“The station beat stiff competition from Radio Tyneside and Hospital Radio Plymouth with the judges deciding the Doddy Day trailer was the best of the year.” – Wirral Globe

The accolade was also reported in On Air magazine which featured a round-up of the winners for 2019.

“This promo celebrates the life of Ken Dodd, and has lovely use of archive material.” – On Air magazine

Radio Clatterbridge was also shortlisted in the Special Event category.
