Wirral Charity Post

We get the seal of approval from Wirral Charity Post

We are pleased to reveal that Radio Clatterbridge will be one of the beneficiaries from this year’s Wirral Charity Post.

It will be the fifth time the station has been chosen to receive financial support from the proceeds of the service in its 37 year history.

Since then, in excess of £550,000 has been donated to more than 200 good causes.

Each Christmas, 46 Scout groups, five Guide districts and three Ranger units work together to sort and deliver almost 400,000 cards across the peninsular.

By using the special stamps, customers help to support Wirral Guides, Scouts and all of the nominated charities.

This year, the stamps will go on sale from Saturday 23rd November and the last day to post cards in the special boxes will be Wednesday 18th December.

Stamps can usually be bought from outlets including Claire House, Wirral Hospice St John’s, the RVS Shop in Clatterbridge Hospital and Claremont Farm Shop.

For more details of the scheme and locations, please visit the Wirral Charity Post website.

Our thanks once again for the continuing support of the organisers.
