Dave Adams speaking for the League of Friends

Presidential success for Dave

The 2020 presidential race has been won – by our very own Dave Adams.

No, we’re not talking about the election for the White House but an important role much closer to home.

The In The Mix presenter has been asked to take up the presidency of Clatterbridge Hospitals League of Friends.

The charity raises money on projects to benefit patient experiences within the health park.

Dave has spent a decade on the league’s committee, becoming vice chairman in 2015 and then a vice president in 2018.

He is only the fifth president in the history of the charity and follows in the footsteps of Viscount Leverhulme, His Honour Richard Pickering, Ken Edwardson and Ken Arnold.

“I consider this a huge honour especially in light of such illustrious predecessors in the role. Clatterbridge Hospitals League of Friends does great work providing amenities and equipment across the health park. I am delighted to become president of such a worthy organisation.”

The role is bestowed by the committee and Dave takes the honorary position with immediate effect.
