Under Cover Reporting

Radio Clatterbridge did a spot of under cover reporting at the weekend - from Wirral Hospice St John's.

Showers dominated the open garden day in the hospice grounds but thankfully a new addition to the station's armoury left our volunteers high and dry.

Dave Harvey under our new marquee

Dave Harvey broadcast live from the hospice from under our brand new gazebo. He was able to tell listeners about the gardening demonstrations, talks and tombola.

Meanwhile our Chairman Steve Lord was on hand to sample the muffins and cream teas on offer!

The marquee was paid for by a donation from the Wirral Egg Run.

Radio Clatterbridge received £750 from the organisers of the annual charity event.

Steve Lord accepted the cheque from the Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Gerry Ellis, who is fast becoming a friend of the station!
