They say you should never meet your heroes - but presenter Jake McElvogue has no regrets about spending time with YouTube star KSI.

The 25 year old rapper, comedian and amateur boxer has been posting videos online for more than a decade and has now accumulated more than four billion video views and 20 million subscribers.

Jake has been watching him grow in popularity since 2012 and, despite describing himself as a massive fan he managed to miss out twice on meeting him back in 2017.

When he heard KSI was going on tour he was initially disappointed once more because Jake was on holiday for the Liverpool gig.

Thankfully, he managed to get a VIP ticket to the Manchester show.

"I was completely ecstatic when I got the ticket. I knew this occasion would be brilliant. It felt amazing as he is one of my heroes."

Despite KSI not being on the playlist at Radio Clatterbridge, Jake knew all of the songs on the set list.

He says the concert was incredible and the whole place was bouncing.

What's more, not only did Jake meet the man himself, he also got to meet one of The Sidemen, KSI's group of friends who also do YouTube.

"Meeting KSI and chatting to him was an experience I'll never forget. It was just epic to meet Miniminter too"

Jake says it was one of the greatest days of his life.
