Band's electrifying performance wows Clatterbridge fundraiser

Guests from Radio Clatterbridge were wowed by the performance of a local pop group at the weekend.
A number of our volunteers booked a table at the fundraising event in aid of the Clatterbridge Hospitals League of Friends.
In The Mix presenter Dave Adams provided the "links" during the charity night at Bromborough Golf Club.

The Electric Hat Band provided the entertainment.
The five-piece group, whose members include friends of the station Michael Moon and former Wirral Mayor Les Rowlands, played music from the Merseybeat era to the present day.
Volunteers Heather Smith, Mal Vaughan, Gaynor Bridges and chairman Steve Evans attended with their other halves.

It's estimated the event raised nearly £500 for the charity.
