About Phil
Phil first joined the station in 1973 and has now returned to where it all began.
He still remembers presenting The Saturday Variety Show, a mixture of music popular at the time, for a number of years.
Phil has also presented some guest programmes over the years on Manchester’s Piccadilly Radio and Cool FM in Benidorm.
An examination invigilator by day, Phil runs a website for 1960s international cabaret artist and vocalist Valerie Masters.
