Helen Sestan

Helen is a true champion of her local community.

She was roped into joining Radio Clatterbridge by fellow presenter and Asda colleague Ian Grant.

Now she occasionally gets to share some of her favourite music - when she manages to persuade Ian to let her choose the songs.

"I have a very eclectic taste in music from Glen Miller, Clair De Lune to Mariah Carey and Dua Lipa.... I just love music, the mood and emotions it evokes."

The pair's voluntary activities don't end at the station. Helen can often be found helping local charities and good causes.

In her role as Community Champion for the supermarket's branch in Bromborough, she helps raise awareness and money.

It's probably her link to nobility which makes Helen so honourable.

Her family have even got a village named after them in Croatia.

She's also connected to musical royalty too; Helen's Godfather is Tony Crane of the Merseybeats.

In her spare time, Helen enjoys reading, writing fiction, design and making soft furnishings and clothes.
