A First for Jake with Chart-Topping Bronnie Hughes
Our presenter Jake McElvogue conducted his first ever radio interview since he joined the station many years ago.

He invited in, his old school friend and now popular chart-topping singer Bronnie Hughes, who sang a few years ago with Little Mix at Prenton Park, the home of Tranmere Rovers.
They reminisced about the good old school days at Hilbre High, before chatting about Bronnie’s highly successful career that has took her to America last year. Then, remembered the concert at Prenton Park, home of Tranmere Rovers, where Bronnie supported the all-girl act – Little Mix.

Jake played two of Bronnie’s rock chart hits, one of which hit number 1! Then chatted about her band that was formed, after she felt she needed to up her game somewhat, albeit she was a bit tongue-in-cheek about that remark we felt.
