Lynne - Desperate Scousewife By the Waters of Liverpool

The glamourous Lynne Fitzgerald of Desperate Scousewives fame and more recently who's starred in By the Waters of Liverpool, talked to Steve Evans at the Floral Pavilion just prior to going on stage recently.

Steve watched this serious show and was overwhelmed, having to hold back tears at one point. But also finding 'By the Waters’ humorous in parts, especially with a few of the five characters that Lynne played - Ma the cafe owner being a particularly funny one.

Lynne certainly stamped her mark on this Helen Forrester show with a wonderful performance. Who knows how she can put on so many accents and dialects with so much ease and expertise.

The fantastic nine-strong cast play more than fifty characters. With Tom Roberts, Joe Gill, Emma Mulligan, Lynn Francis, Daniel Taylor, Joe Owens, Samantha Alton, Roy Carruthers joining Lynne on stage.

Lynne has been receiving rave reviews from the critics including a comparison to being very Victoria Woodesque in her performance of Ma, the Cafe owner - and many more…..

Lynne as ‘KAREN’ coming to the Brindley Theatre soon

Look out for Lynne soon who wrote and stars in both her next productions. Firstly, in ‘KAREN’ at the Brindley Theatre in January, then in the brand new Desperate Scousewives 4 ‘Kicked to the Kerb’ in February with, and only just announced the talented Lesley Butler, yes Billy Butler’s wife.
